My daughter and I went grocery shopping. I was splitting my items into two payments. In the bottom of the basket I had 4 six packs of sodas. I paid for the them. Then scanned my next group of items. I did have one alcoholic beverage so I knew he needed to check my id. Please tell me why the checkout machine keep flagging him to come and check to be sure we paid. I even show him my receipt. And it flagged him again. Had to show my receipt again and again. It also did the same thing to my daughter. Again I had to show my receipts to him. By this time I’m really upset. And even though I had shown him my receipts for the soda’s, the machine still flagged him again. He had no common since because I had showed him my receipts several times but yet he still asked about the soda’s. At the same time at 2 people that were Caucasian used the machines and it did not flag him on them. Not even once. When we finally got out of there, he was over another machine with an African American woman. My daughter and I are also African American. It seems to me they have set there machine to flag them when people of color go thru the lines. I go to krogers a lot and I have never been treated this badly.

The Dirty Kroger is what locals call this place. The parking lot is always full of litter. You will be lucky to find anyone working the deli counter every time and hardly ever the customer service counter. Recently they have closed the butchers counter and have just put in packaged meats. I’m a Nicorette user and it has been several months since they have had this product stocked. The employees are nice with the exception of a handful who are always rude and could care less about it. I’m a captive to this place because it is on my way home so, I must endure.

Was briefly in Franklin to visit some family and stopped by kroger to get some food. Got some rotisserie chicken to eat at work the next day.

Cut into the chicken the next day and it's bloody and under cooked. I called and asked for a refund and they said I would have to come in in person. I live 45 minutes away, so that's extremely inconvenient and will cost me gas money.

On top of that, I work 24 hour shifts and don't have any food for dinner now.

They told me I could call corporate, but didn't even give me a number.

So this location sells dangerous food and has terrible customer service.

It's my neighborhood store, but I'm really getting annoyed by having to check out my town groceries. There was only one staffed lane open with a lot of people waiting. I didn't have that many items, but enough that it made self checkout challenging with the small space provided.

They need to hire more cashiers or self check out people, been like that for a few months now at least.

If I could give -5 stars I would!! I have been inconvenienced more than 3x in the last few months shopping at this Kroger location! I don’t even think they get inspections at this store because there is no way they can get away with all of this! I have bought MEAT and it has been expired from the last month!! I bought produce last week that was more than three weeks old and today I bought some meat (the same kind from last time) and it was over a month expired as I was cooking! I was already settled in and it messed up my dish! I am going to stop patronizing this business and go a few extra miles down the street to buy my food! Good thing I checked or my whole family would’ve been sick! This Kroger need to check their produce and meat before someone terribly get sick from shopping and trusting this store!

While this is not the best Kroger location in this area, it is the most convenient to where we live. Usually we don't have a problem but this past Saturday night, 7-24-18, we got the WORST experience EVER! We arrived at the store at 8:30pm on a Saturday night, knowing that at 10pm this location shuts down the regular lanes and only has U Scans open. We spent 30 minutes shopping and upon arriving at the checkout area at 9pm guess what.......not 1 checkout lane open AND the customer service desk was closed....9pm Saturday night! There were MULTIPLE customers in the U Scan area and all of the units were being used. We had well over 60 items in our cart and were not amused that we were going to have to scan the order ourselves. We did ask the girl running the U Scans if there was going to be a lane opened and she apologized that she didn't even know where anyone else was but her and understood we were frustrated. She was running herself crazy trying to help folks using the 8 units as many of them had alcohol, or as usual, the UScans were being sensitive and not working correctly. With no other choice after 30 minutes of selecting our items, we very reluctantly began scanning. During the process our machine called the attendant 3x and we had to wait as everyone else was having problems as well. This process took us 24 minutes and after 52....yes 52 items....we put back well over 10 and called it a day. Our groceries were valued at around $200 before savings. Now if you have never tried this, putting 52 items in the U Scan bagging area is impossible. I then looked over at the customer service area and saw a young girl and decided to go ask for a manager. Much to my surprise when I went up there she was stocking cigarettes....really? The check out area was slammed and she was stocking cigarettes. Now I know she can run a register and you would think that the manager would have her doing that. I asked her to call the manager and it took two times for him to arrive, showing how annoyed he was for being bothered. Sorry to bother you Jacob but I am a customer and I had a problem. I explained that we are in that store 3-5x a week and he annoyingly told me that he couldn't keep help and was busy in the back doing something with freight.....what? I then told him that while I understood that he might be short handed, that the store policy is to close all lanes at 10pm and that him and the customer service girl could have put up stock and cigarettes after 10pm and help the customers. He said again, more annoyed that he didn't have enough people to open other lanes. I then advised that when the manager Tim was there and the store was busy that he ran registers. Jacob just continued to be argumentative, annoyed and NEVER apologized for the inconvenience. I asked him if it was appropriate for a customer to be expected to scan over $200 worth of items at a little U Scan and he said that he just didn't have enough help. Well I tell you what Jacob.....I will make this easy for you....I won't be back with my large orders that help pay your salary so you have time to put your freight and cigarettes up! BTW.....not sure why it was so important to put freight up at 9pm on a Saturday night when it is never up any other time we are in there!

Go up
