Visiting family up here from the Rio Grande Valley and stopped by this HEB to grab some groceries and I was super excited about the numerous new products I found at this store. Now I think I found my new favorite HEB store in San Antonio. We will be back!!

I have been coming to this heb for over 15 years. I don’t know what happened but every single time I come here now, multiple times a week, I have to bag my own groceries. I’m a relatively youngish, fit person, so I can do that myself, but when the store has numerous staff just standing around all the time and managers chatting with zero sense of urgency and I’m bagging my groceries myself, it’s a problem. I come here multiple times a week for my family and spend on average of $150 to $200 a pop. You are telling me with the price gouging and pricing of 2024 that you don’t have enough labor dollars to employ enough baggers? Ridiculous. And when managers see you bagging your own stuff they just shrug and move on. Do better HEB or I’m headed to Walmart. At least if I’m gonna bag my own groceries there the prices will be better. Disappointed.

Great location just a few minutes down the street from my work, and always has everything I need. I love the variety of quick pre prepped food options. It’s well organized, and the staff is always so helpful.

I grew up in Huntington place down the street and my family has lived in the area for many years. I have never really had a bad experience at this store till today. The employee in the floral department is not very friendly or helpful. I believe she was dressed in semi regular clothing so I believe she may be some form of manager or department leader or something. To start off the girl seem unapproachable. She doesn’t look at you or smile and she is very short in her response. She almost seems as if she is trying to make you feel like you are inconveniencing her. Definitely has a bad attitude and it shows on her face and how she responds to customers. Nice flowers though. Not so nice employee. She acts as if she works in a prison not the heb floral department.

I love HEB it's a very good store well stocked low prices even because of the economic downturn we're seeing in the economy they still try to help everyday families with meal deals and specials and buying things in large amounts and giving discounts. Use the digital coupons and the in-store coupons and try to get the best grocery prices that you possibly can much better selection than Walmart.

H-E-B advertises 'local butchers,' but in reality, they prefer to sell pre-cut pieces instead of offering whole select cuts. It feels like they're more focused on maximizing profit margins by pushing smaller, more expensive portions rather than letting customers choose the whole cuts they want. Disappointing for anyone looking for a true butcher experience.
