This was the first restaurant on our list that we wanted to eat at when coming to Cetara. On the first day we arrived, they were closed for a wedding. We tried again 2 nights later and they were completely booked out. We finally got lucky on our last night here in Cetara by arriving as soon as they opened for dinner. We sat outside on the patio and were greeted immediately. The menu is on a stand out front and you take a picture with your phone. We were brought a small appetizer plate on the house that had 2 pieces of crunchy bread with a butter/cheese spread, lemon zest, and an anchovy. Super yummy and refreshing. My partner ordered 2 salads, the simple tomato and Parmesan spaghetti while I ordered the carbonara. The tomato spaghetti was probably the best and most simple dish we had in Cetara. It was so delicious and the garlic, basil, cheese, tomatoes, all worked perfectly together. The carbonara, while made exactly how it should be, was a bit too much in the egg and we filled up quick on that one. If you like carbonara, you will definitely love this one. We were also given a brown bag with bread in it on the house. Highly recommend!

We visited Dea Mangiona a few times during our stay in Cetara, and everything was amazing!
The service was super friendly and welcoming.

One day, we ordered the gnocchi as the “meal of the day” and they turned out to be the tastiest gnocchi we’ve ever had. So good we’re still talking about them!

Such an authentic spot with real Cetarese flavors. Absolutely loved it!

We had an exceptional dinner here with our family, truly a hidden gem. The setting is small and intimate, with just a few tables, which adds to the charm.
We started with crostini topped with cheese, lemon, and anchovies, followed by grilled anchovies and melanzane alla parmigiana as appetizers. The melanzane in particular was outstanding: soft, savoury, and creamy; quite possibly the best I’ve ever had.
The seared tuna with sesame was another highlight: ultra-fresh, delicately prepared, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. We loved every moment. A genuine recommendation.

This small, casual restaurant was one of the best surprises of our whole trip. The setting is simple and unpretentious, but the food is made with real care and heart — you can taste it in every bite. We had wonderful dishes with octopus, anchovies, tuna, all so fresh and full of flavor. We traveled along the Amalfi Coast and ate at many places, but this one stayed with us the most. What made it truly special was the warm, genuine service — we felt welcomed like family. We left feeling grateful, full, and already wishing we could come back.

Amazing food. Everything delicious and super fresh. We had the best octopus salad, which was very tender. Ravioli with ricotta was perfect, with an unbelievable sauce. The staff were super friendly despite little English. And the chef came out to talk, and serve little extra snacks.

What a lovely spot and a FANTASTIC meal! We split the raviolo and roasted octopus - both were incredible. Tables fill up fast - you can tell it was a favorite for locals. Very fair prices and great selection of fresh/local options. They even brought out a complementary appetizer of orange marmalade and marinated anchovies on toast - may sound odd but it was great!!

Perfect spot for cozy dinner date, our waitress Anna was very helpful and kind. Every dish was so scrumptious, definitely the chef(s) put in a lot of love in his/her cooking! A must visit while in Cetara 🍋 best of all - after finishing all our food, we are pleasantly feeling light, this is a great sign that the ingredients are fresh and great quality!
