Pretty exhausted with this place..
Things are always out of stock
The only dips they have are hummus and spinach artichoke dip, guac and salsa..
Like is that our only options in America?
Over priced for food that isn’t even good for you.
Tom Thumb is essentially just like a more expensive Walmart as a grocery store that has “the appearance of options” meaning it’s a bunch of the same stuff in different packaging ?
The produce section is a mess and always low quality..
Just spend your dollar somewhere else y’all!

This tiny bag of Brussel Sprouts was over 6 dollars like come on dude ?

Mary in produce is a big help to me as I work for a local catering company.
I appreciate how consistantly well stocked this store is.

Honorable mentions to the gentleman who manages the carts, I've seen him jump into multiple roles to help out and I see him as a great asset to your team. Good Job Tom Thumb Hampton ?

First giving respect to the person in the Delhi area. Who originally helped me with the Tom Thumb app, trying to get the deal on the chicken.

I am mostly impressed with the person who was at the front self checkout area going back and forth between multiple areas. "Ms. Kayla" kudos to this individual. They went far beyond customer service and making sure the fairness of the deal was there. This person help me navigate the app and made sure what I entered was correct. These things can be tricky for older customers and it's good to have competent individuals there to help navigate us through these trying times. Please Tom Thumb corporate office this should be a future manager

This place is so understaffed and gross. I say this as someone who has been going for years. After my last experience I’m done. I realized this time it was bad that the last two ground Turkey packages I’ve gotten from here have been bad. I opened them the day after I got them…it is so overpriced it is immoral. The quality and service is so bad I only go when I absolutely have to. If you go anytime after 3pm there are 20 minute lines down all the aisles, trash everywhere and no carts at the front and spoiled meat. Pay a living wage and hire people that actually care about not poisoning customers. Never going back.

Do not make the mistake of ordering home delivery from this store. An order a week ago was missing half the items that were paid for. I did get a few items that were for someone else's order so they were shorted as well. A call to the store's phone number somehow directed me to the wrong store in Duncanville. Once we figured that out, which took about 45 minutes I was transferred to the correct store where the phone went unanswered for a long period of time. I had to call the meat department who paged the manager, "Austin." Austin was very apologetic and the missing items were promptly delivered. Austin gave me a credit for the missing items as a gesture of good will. That whole episode took an hour and a half from time of delivery until re-delivery was agreed to. Today, a week later, I decided to give them another try and this time only one item was missing. Once again the store phone went unanswered for a long period so I called Customer Support at 877-505-4040 where I was told that re-delivery, due to it being a single item, was unavailable and that a refund would be offered. That was unacceptable so I asked to have the matter escalated and was told that it wouldn't make any difference. I demanded to speak with a manager and the call center agent agreed to transfer me. The phone again went unanswered so the agent contacted the home delivery department where they agreed to bring out the one item. This took about 40 minutes to resolve. This is a recurring problem and not the only issue. (1) "Do not substitute" items get substituted for product I won't eat because its GMO and soy or just not what I ordered. (2) Virtually all of the produce from this store I've had to throw away. Broccoli was rotten and smelled bad out of the bag as it was delivered. Mushrooms were bad. It's like the shoppers have never cooked a meal or learned how to pick produce. The bananas are tasteless. I don't have this problem with Whole Foods. If you want to be shortchanged, receive bad produce and have, in the last week, over two hours to waste on the phone trying to resolve their problems this is the store for you. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Update 10/1/24: Received the patronizing AI-generated reply below which shows total insincerity, and based on similar replies going back months, and my previous heart-to-heart with the management demonstrates they have no intention of correcting this dismal store's problems. Went to the Desoto Texas store today and it was like being in a different grocery chain. Desoto store was well-stocked, clean, employees were friendly and the produce was fresh. Will be pursuing getting deliveries from this store as they seem to actually care about their customers.

I been coming to this story for years love the manager there or who ever the managers are they helps me a lot iam 67 year old lady and this young lady always helps me with my items when needing them to be found for me she a white young lady very polite and respectful I believe when she worked in costumer service I always had good service with her and now she manages the front love how she works and very respectful.

My experience people wise, good. However there was an issue. My daughter went to the bakery to get doughnuts. She opened the door, and a couple of flies were in there. Gross!!!! I then went to the meat section. The meat was so extremely big. The turkey legs, the pork chop, even the roast. The meat looked fresh, but I was mainly in there for frozen shrimp. When I tell you the shrimp was in the middle floor aisle, and it was more flies!!!! This was so disgusting and nasty!!!!! Aldo the meat department fish smell was bad. I don't live in this area, but decided to stop, because hey, it's Tom Thumb, seemed more like a Fiesta store. I'm not sure what's going on, but I have never been to any store, and yes, including Walmart, and there's flies where the raw meat is, and flies where the doughnuts were. We just left. Will never come back if I'm in the neighborhood.
